Hey everyone! As we look back on 2025 here at Little Park Farm, we just wanted to share a few highlights of what’s been going on. It’s been a lively and, at times, muddy ride! And here’s a few images of views around the farm throughout the year.
One of our biggest projects this year was clearing out those old, rickety outbuildings that were practically holding themselves up with wishful thinking. We swapped them out for a shiny new tractor shed—though let me tell you, getting there was quite the adventure. Picture us armed with hammers and crowbars, walls coming down (safely, of course!), and a fair bit of treachery and laughter mixed in. In the end, it’s all standing sturdy now, and we’re thrilled with the result.

On the animal front, everyone’s doing just fine. Our goats—Dolly, Hayley, and Jeff—are happily munching away. They still get a bit muddy on their daily lunchtime outings, and they love their routine. Our ponies, Tilly and Dotty, have perfected the art of hide-and-seek when it’s time to come in for the night, and they’re always hanging around the back door in the mornings hoping for a snack (they’ve got us well trained!).

As for our farm dogs, Lucas and Rueben, they’re the ultimate greeters. Rueben’s had a bit of a rough patch with his heart condition, but with his medication, he’s still going strong and loving life, always ready to say hello to visitors.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Nigel Brown, an eminent ecologist, who gave us a whole new appreciation of our farm’s biodiversity. He spotted all sorts of species and led us on some fantastic fungi walks, so we’ve learned a lot and had a lot of fun along the way.
So, here’s to a year of growth, a little bit of chaos, and plenty of good memories. Thanks for being part of our farm family, and here’s to more adventures in the coming year!
